Severn Trent Metering Services has recently been awarded approval to the OIML (International Organisation of Legal Metrology) R49 standard for cold water meters and Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) approval, which ensures that European water companies can benefit from the lifelong accuracy and other advantages offered by solid-state technology.
